I don't want to go to book club tonight
My church has this book club that meets one Friday night a month. They always choose books I would never read on my own. BUt I'm expected to be there, because it's a church activity. This time, I haven't even read the book, because I know it'll be all meaningful, with deep psychological insights that I just won't care about--and lots of crying. Tonight's selection: _The Glass Castle_. I've tried to get 'em to read books I really want to read, like Moby Dick. But no dice.

BUt I'll go. Maybe they'll order Chinese instead of pizza for a change. I gotta go soon. Pray for me.
