I have a question for all you Randi Rhodes fans.

What do you think of her sit-in Stacy Taylor? I listened to him every morning for three and a half years when I lived in San Diego and I've always thought he should get a regular show on Air America. What do you guys think after listening to him for a week?

1. I listened to him all week, as well as other times he has subbed for Randi.

Overall, I like him. I got a kick out of him today, talking about all the emails he was getting about various things; emails correcting him on things, or giving him additional info, etc. He really seemed to like it that the audience is so participatory in the program.

I was thinking that AAR should put him on daily in place of Lionel, to whom I was only able to listen to for about 10 minutes when he first came on the air at AAR.

2. I think it's just a matter of time really...

...I find it hard to believe he hasn't already had "offers" to do bigger things. I'd put him right up there with any of the other liberal radio hosts I've heard. He's certainly heads and shoulders above Lionel.

3. I like him, too.

He'd be a great host to take Lionel's job. But any sort of national presence would be cool. I don't agree with any host 100%, but I like Stacy. He's got a good presence, he's level headed with the callers, he's got a good way of explaining his positions and he's got great pipes.

4. I've been listening to him this week and have before when he's sat in

and I really like him. I don't know where I'd put him because I'm fortunate to have a really good line-up in L.A. I really like every single host (we don't have Lionel).
