MMA Fans--Wandy is heading to UFC

Wanderlei Silva's first fight is currently scheduled for 12/29 with the assumption he'll be facing Chuck~! (Assuming he gets past his September fight against Keith Jardine with minor injuries, of course.)

Anyway, I started getting into MMA when I lived in Japan, which happened to be during the heyday of Pride (i.e. before the Yakuza and Livedoor scandal basically ended the company), which meant I watched Silva fight in his prime and at his most intimidating. He remains my favorite fighter, and I'm excited to see if he can bounce back from his horrendous 2006. Frankly, this news makes me very, very happy.

Now, I want Dana White to solve Fedor Emelianenko's contract demands (He wants to be able to fight non-UFC matches in his native Russia), so the best MMA fighter, period, gets involved in the UFC.
