Why do I wake up at midnight every night... |
|
Just when I should be going to sleep?
Am I a freakin' vampire, or something?! :-(

I don't know why you did it originally...
But now I suspect your body is used to doing this...
Our circadian rhythms have rhythms, you know...
You'll have to train yourself to ignore the impulse to get up...
Just roll over and relax...Close your eyes...snuggle down ...
And go back to sleep...
You can teach yourself to do this!

2. Well, I never go to bed before midnight... |
|
..haven't for years. Since I worked the night shift for about 4 years.
But, now I can hold a day shift, and I want to be "part of society" again...
but, I still can't make myself go to bed at a normal hour.
I may never be able to re-adjust. I've tried everything... including sleeping pills...
which caused scary mood swings (I'll never take one of those again!).
Thank you for your encouragement though.
