A video of Tool's "Forty six and two" and the explanaton of the lyrics
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Tja6_h4lT6A

Gen X has always been trying to repair the manifest ignorance of the baby boomers by placing intellectualism and righteous rebellion into our music genre's whether it be hip hop, metal, punk or fill in the blank.

4. Oh give it up...
A little hiper and more stylized kind of Dust in the Wind...

Pop music is pop music...

Yea and all that righteous rebellion has seen the Gen X'er turn into the same kind of consumer oriented brand driven corporate American dream customers...

It's Gen X that has turned out against Bush, and done all the progressive things that you and I believe in. It's the boomers that're always screaming in self centered greed screaming "MINE, MINE" like a perpetual two year old. You of all people should know this.

6. For every Boomer who "sold Out", there is a Gen X'er right wanting
that boomer's job...

There are standouts in every generation...

The boomer's paved the way for the feminist movement, the environmental movement, the consumer activists...

The Gen X'ers popularized Hacky Sack...

I kid, of course...

But every rally against the war I attended here in Cleveland was full of all generations...

So it does no good to pit one generation against the next...

The times are different and the people have different opportunities to express themselves...

7. Minly because boomers have sent away and decimated all the other jobs
But I see your point I'll guess I'll show empathy for the boomers on a trial bases.
;)
How's the lungs doing BTW?
