The DU diet. It really works! |
|
Just logon to DU and visit any forum.
You'll either become so engrossed in the topics that you'll forget to eat or you'll be so nauseated by the freeper trolls that you won't want to eat. Go to the 2004 Primary board and you'll throw all your food at the other candidates supporters instead of eating it.
Any way you look at it, you lose weight! I did/am!

It only works if you don't bring snacky-type foods over to the computer with you. Also, I've found that when I get upset at the freepers, I need chocolate to calm me down.
At least DU helps me get my heart rate up as I lie on the couch reading messages. Is that considered exercise?

2. It's about all the exercise I get. So it counts! |

chips with salsa/cheese dip and a brownie and a glass of wine for dinner while checking out DU. Somehow, I don't think that's as effective as the South Beach Diet.
I used to have the laptop down in front of the treadmill, so I could tread and read DU at the same time, but since putting in so many hours in the campaign office, I feel like I 'deserve' to sit on my ass a while longer!
Oh, and I don't usually eat THIS crap for dinner, but Mr. Vote is out of town, so it's just the dogs and me tonight!

If I sit in the living room watching TV or reading at night, I want to snack, but if I'm in my room on the computer, I'm sufficiently distracted enough that I forget about it.
