Possession of marijuana is a federal crime. Regardless of one's position on decrim or legalization, I think that caution is advised.

Do you have something against free speech? The laws violate the inalienable rights of man in what is a victimless act and legal cannabis would make the world a better place. It would help with the alcohol problem. The laws are the crime.
