3. Well, crap. I was looking forward to visiting you at the Capitol. |

Well, at least there's another Democrat in the race. In my new (Tom DeLay redrawn) district there are EIGHT Republicans running against exactly ZERO Democrats.
I gave a few thoughts to running, but I thought our ex-mayor would run, plus I'd have to quit my job...I'd have lost, but I'd have gone down swinging.
Edit - English is my first language. No, really!

5. That is not a question. |
|
Hell, you should run anyway.
When I started running, I thought that (since "Tex" Senselessbrenner is so firmly entrenched) there would be no money or media attention to this race -- hence, no pressure, and I could just tear that rat bastard a few new ones.
Seems to me that you're in the perfect situation -- only the candidates who are CLOSE in the polls have plane "accidents."

Plus, there's that whole quit-my-job thing. Not like I'm in love with it, but it does pay.

Part of why I dropped out.
I would've had to campaign FULL-TIME in order to make up for my competition's advantages. I can't afford to quit my job.
So....

8. I responded to your other thread. Here's my question: |
|
What happens to your campaign war chest now? Are you obligated to return it to the people who donated, or is it yours to dispense as you please? I have always wondered that.

11. Since I'm so effing nice... |
|
...I will be offering contributers the option of receiving a pro-rated refund (after all debts are settled). I don't have to do this, but I'm gonna; mainly because my largest contributers are family, and, well.... Anything left over, I will contribute toward Kennedy, Russ Feingold, our presidential nominee, and the DNC.

I have to either: 1) refund 2) contribute (with limits) to other campaigns 3) give (unlimited amounts) to charity.
I suppose I could thow a hella-cool party for my staff.

15. Technically, legally, no. |
|
That's the one major thing that's explicitly forbidden. Using campaign funds for personal purposes.
If he could find a way to tie it in to campaigning, though....
It can go to other candidates, the DNC, the Wisconsin Democratic Party, the U.S. Treasury (um, yeah) or to charity. Or any combination thereof.

...the only way it could be worse would be if "Bruno" were SINGING "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing."
On edit: I'm changing the damn channel.
