Terrible film titles:
Gimme your worst.

I have two to contribute... one is really stupid and awkward, and the other one is just too damned long.

1) "Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever"

2) "Francis Ford Coppola Presents Bram Stoker's Dracula"

19. I remember that movie!
Strother Martin's only feature role, and not a good one at that. But he's a great character actor.

That's enough to stop you cold from EVER going to the movies again!

I also hated "V.I. Warsharski," starring Kathleen Turner as a single mom/private eye.

it used to be listed in an old Leonard Maltin book I had. I think it was mid 60s and had some older diva actress like Rosalind Russell in it.

The Banger Sisters, The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies, How To Stuff a Wild Bikini, What's Eating Gilbert Grape? (Terrific movie, though.)

Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl -- won't take any prizes for its title, either.

52. I think "Hudsucker"'s title...
..is what caused it to flop at the box office. It's a pretty great move, by directors the public seem to enjoy. I think nobody could remember what it was called long enough to get to the local googoplex.

JoJo Dancer, Your Life Is Calling

Mantango, the Fungus of Terror (a/k/a "Attack of the Mushroom People")

Bela Lugosi Meets A Brooklyn Gorilla (Neither Lugosi nor the gorilla appear until the last five minutes or so of the film!)

Orgy of the Dead (What a disguisting mental image that conjures up!)

BTW: "The OED "b" definition says a merkin is a "counterfeit hair for women's privy parts," and another dictionary calls it a "pubic hair wig. "

Go figger
I actually saw the movie in the 80's in the UK. Lots of T & AA

"Please sever my heaad off...this is a waste of $$$" was definetely one of the worst films in a theatre I have ever seen. I honestly don't know how my friend got me to see that one. I honestly had no idea what the hell it was about.

And yes, the title is as bad as the movie itself.

51. It was originally titled just "Ecks vs. Sever", but...
...none of the test audiences could decipher what that meant, so they tacked-on "Ballistic", to make it more 'catchy'.

I worked on that one, but just on Second Unit, so I can't be blamed for any executive decisions, including releasing it on the poor, poor public.
