Who else has odd food allergies? I just discovered I'm allergic to blueberries. Who the hell is allergic to blueberries--the world's most harmless fruit?
edited for spelling - d'oh.

peanuts are no problem. I also break out when handling cardboard boxes. I'm allergic to every tree but maples.

4. My brother just recently found out that he's mildly allergic to cashews. |
|
No other nuts. Just cashews. Whenever he eats something with cashews in it, he gets a slight itchy redness around his mouth. And that's it.

My daughter has a severe reaction (anaphylactic) and could die if she eats them. They used to be my favorite nut. It's a very rare allergy.
I've never heard of someone with blueberry allergy before - I hope they're easy to avoid.

6. Sweetie's mom is allergic to mango. Who ever heard of such a thing? And... |
|
...she has a friend who is allergic to all sorts of peppers, from bell to jalepeno. I had to make a salsa once, for a meeting they were attending, and had to use white pepper & wasabi for the heat because a teaspoon of cayenne could have killed her.
What's up with that?
