We played and jammed dead tunes and drank beer on our made up course. There were no baskets. We had an 18 hole course using lamp posts, dumpsters, trees etc and you had to utilize all shots. It was a good time but everyone moved away except me. I loved the roll shot the most if you hit it right you could roll forever! Then they put those basket things up in the middle of our course and ruined it;)

18 holes- We had 6 par fives etc it was great fun. I miss it sometimes but when we tried to play a few years ago I threw and my arm about fell off. I got this shooting pain that didn't go away for two days. I had to quit-

5. I played almost daily in Charlotte in the '90s |
|
There were a half-dozen courses to choose from, and i could even get in 9-holes on my lunch break.
I still have a few discs here, but the closest course is 20 miles away... and i'm not sure that my chronic-problem ankle could handle the trail.

9. I played 1/2 a season of ultimate about oh 9 years ago |

The team I was on barely had the starting 7 every week and I got literally tired of running nonstop for hours so I stopped going. I really loved the sport but that was too much-I smoked back then I wonder how I could do at it now.
The City of Richmond put a full course in one of the parks on the northside recently and a friend of mine tells me that it is packed all the time. He bikes and runs in the area. I was in the park and it was funny to watch them with their bags-I had no idea that there was that much to it. Looks fun I should probably take the family out for a round.
