Why is this line in the ads and not in the film?

Not that SuperBad is lacking in hilarious lines, but this one is one of the best from the ads, and I found myself anticipating it.

For that, SuperBad gets a 9.9.

2. It happens. The trailers have to be made months ahead of time

and the studio that does the trailers usually cant see the complete film when they make them. Sometimes a good line will get edited out of the final film.

I've seen it twice now, top five funniest movies ever. "I have a boner." McLovin is fucking funny and the relationship between Seth and Evan is hilarious. Too many quotable lines. Heres a few of my fav's:
"I have a boner." - McLovin
"I'd be the Iron Chef of pounding vag." Seth
"I arrested a man-lady that was legally named Fuck, they were Vietnamese so it was spelled with a "ph" but still." Officers Slater and Michaels
"I'm so wet."- Becca, "They said that would happen in health class."-Evan

6. some movie franchises have toys of characters not in the film

because companies like Hasbro get the order well in advance so the merchandise can be in the stores just before the release and then scenes get cut afterwords.
