Pictures, Part 4: Brussels, BE
Husker's Excellent European Vacation pictures are back! I'm really hoping to be done with the organization this weekend. But for now...Brussels, Belgium!

1. Wow!
You've inspired me to take pics at a different angle next time I try to photograph a tall building. These are great... and you & your friend look wonderful and happy in that first pic! Thank you, again. You know I love travel pics!!

4. Ah yes, the joys of the digital camera
They're so freeing...I was taking multiple shots of the exact same thing...and it turned out that the odd angles were the best!

We were, indeed, having a great time. We spent the day with 2 other friends, who actually found out they were pregnant WHILE we were touring. (they had done IVF and got a call from the doctor) So we were all in excellent spirits!

5. Europe is wonderful.
I'm already plotting my return. Not next summer, but perhaps in 2 years. :D

Glad you're enjoying the pictures.

I adored London...and took enough pictures to prove it!

3. Didn't really like Brussels
of course that was a long time ago and I was only 18. I would probably find more to like today and your pictures are wonderful.
I would probably still be disappointed with le manneqin pis though. Least spectacular location for a famous sculpture ever.

6. I didn't spend enough time there
to really get a sense of the city. I didn't mind it, though the Belgian natives that I was visiting all HATE it.

Mannekin pis was a huge disappointment. It is really in a random location, and it was crawling with tourists. Bleh.
