All of the little H.O. and N-Scale trains were still wrapped in the same newsprint from 30 years ago. I'm selling them to a collector tonight as model railroading was just never my thing, but Dad had a real passion for it once in his life. I unrolled one of the pages and found the date: Sept 11, 1977. It hit me. 30 years ago, I was 10. Life was a hell of a lot simpler. Back then I never thought that 30 years from now, things are going to be really fucked up in this country. I miss my Dad.
