I did them at a senior citizen class that I teach.

Painting calms my nerves, and helps me forget all the crap that's going on with my life.

I absolutely love your work. Was that your sink that was posted a while back? I loved that one, too.

My painting teacher teaches at a senior center too. He loves teaching art so much. He is determined that the traditions and techniques he learned will outlast him.

Yeah, that was my sink, thanks. I hope to finally finish that next week.

Here's one of my paintings. I love to paint but I really don't have a good place to do it other than my kitchen. There's a skylight in the kitchen. I do pastels some since the clean-up is a whole lot easier than all the oils and turpentine, etc.

23. Since I just recorded this and it's after midnight, technically I made this on Sunday

but since I work the night shift, it's still Saturday to me. :)

I just picked up my violin for the first time in a few years and started playing.

Pretty much just a somber eastern european fiddle style improv piece. Try saying THAT ten times fast.

*edit* I apologize for a few missed notes and out of tune moments... as I said, I haven't played in a while. And if you listen closely, you can hear a moment in there where I cut a few missed licks out. :)
