2. That would be calling the crock pot white...
(oh come now, the "kettle" reference is sooooooooooo trite...)

I am a nerd and I'm proud of it!

Besides, getting called that all the time at school, you bet your sweet bippy I grew accustomed to it. :D

11. I'm a nerd too. I was just being nerdishly coy. Don't you just love that?
And I got to read the RD books, but never got to see the series.

20. No, it was the ones who wore the T-shirts who got called Nerds
Watching Red Dwarf has never been uncool. Red Dwarf T-shirts on the other hand did get a reputation as being the clothing of geeks.

Mind you, I'm hardly one to talk given my own dress sense!

But, who knew gazpacho soup is eaten cold?!
Poor Rimsy.

on edit: Have you ever tried to introduce a friend to the joys of Red Dwarf? I've had people drift off to sleep while I'm trying to explain the premise.

Sadly, it is just for us, the few, the proud, the Smegheads.

18. I love Red Dwarf. Sometimes hilarious, often quite melancholy.
I was a big fan.
Love the theme song...cheerful tune, but depressing lyrics. Fits the show perfectly.
:hi:

21. Role playing game? Dang...
Even series 7 on DVD? OMG!

I got S8 on sale, but S7 (that silly Rimmer song in "Blue" not making up for a season that acts like a fish out of water) was not my cup of tea...

22. It's repeated constantly
in the UK.

Can anyone remember the exact cause of the war which destroyed earth. It was something to do with the opposing Burgerking and McDonalds workers in Hawaii - the red hats and the blue hats..............lol.

23. Yes, it is a great programme
Though I hated series 7 and didn't think much of series 8. I think series 1-6 are wonderful.
