Anybody else here work the night shift and/or stay up late?

Just wondering who might be lurking about during the same hours I do. :)

1. I'm normally always awake from 10 pm to noon..

I keep strange hours.. I enjoy the dark. I am a huge fan of the nap. I will nod off for a few hours whenever I want. I don't have a real job. I can sleep whenever I want.

Unfortunately I'm up late partly because I'm a night owl, but mostly because I work nights.

4. I worked at a photo lab for a few years..

My hours were midnight to noon.. I never really recovered from that stint in cock and ball torture.

3. Sleep patterns vary, up most nights...

I like the solitude of late/early hours. I get more accomplished between the hours of 2:00 am and noon.

Every night. Although I now like to stick to working the happy-hour shift, I still work till midnight or bar closing time sometimes. I can never go to sleep just after coming home from work, so I'm usually not hitting the bed until the sun comes up or some time later in the morning. I guess I've always been a vampire at heart since I always hated regular wake/sleep hours.

7. I usually work from 10:30 pm - 6:30 am

but I'm off tonight...my only night off of the week. I hate working overnight, but I love staying up at night.

8. I've been working 10pm to 8am

Work schedule is about to change, though. I might get a position working 4pm to 2am, which I would much prefer.

9. I work from home

So my hours vary. Lately I have been up all night.

10. I can't anymore.

If I stay up after the "sleep window" of 10:30PM, I won't get to sleep again until 4AM and then feel miserable all day.

For the next 2 days.

I love staying up late. Working late, not so much.

13. I work til 9 or 10 every night.

I'm generally up and around DU until 3 in the morning.
