My co-worker just told me he had a full blood workup for STDs |
|
and not to get Plan B insurance because it doesn't cover very much... I wasn't sure how to respond.

2. Yeah, thats probably better than |
|
"your sex life sounds a lot more interesting than mine". Or "I probably won't be needing that anyway".

4. If I needed a full blood workup for STDs I'd be scared to death |
|
and I'd be worried about more than the bill!

I hope the tests come back as all negatives.

16. I've had the full workup twice... |
|
Both times due to cheating on the other person's part. Not fun.
Luckily, everything came out great.

6. perhaps he didn't trust his partner |
|
or perhaps he was embarking on a new relationship
or who the heck knows
maybe he was totally worried about his sex life and contacts
lots of possibilities, but it is odd that he told you that I think... unless he is going to give you the results and then ask you out

7. I had a guy bust out his lab results once |
|
It's an odd but certainly practical way of making one's intentions known.

8. I actually thought he was telling me he was gay. |
|
If someone was going to ask me out that would be a really bad approach!

11. If I were dating again |
|
And found myself in a new relationship that seemed like it might last a while, I would require that for both of us if we were considering not using condomns. So many of our single friends get rid of the condomns without the STD tests, but I feel that it is a bad idea. As another poster suggested just say "Thanks for the advice."

Exactly what I have required in the two relationships I've had after being divorced.
Of course, I didn't broadcast it to my co-workers. :eyes:

15. Been there, done that... |
|
especially when I found out my ex got HIV. Claims it was from a needle stick from a job she claimed to used to have.
I probably should have had one as soon as I found about her cheating, but, hell, I'm just stupid sometimes.
And I am quite happy to say I am clean as a whistle! :woohoo:
