Anyone ever move to Australia?
I am bored with the avifauna of North America.

I am a soil scientist, watershed ecologist, and biologist.

Where do I sign up? :D

14. lol
the old joke goes "Britain sent Australia her thieves, deadbeats and whores, while she sent North America her religious extremists...Clearly Australia got to have first choice."

4. Let me know if you go so I can stowaway in your luggage
I'm a biologist too and I studied some of the avian life in college (bower birds) and AM just dying for a chance to go down there and see them in their natural ecology (well that and dive the Great Barrier Reef- a lifelong ambition)

5. I plan on taking the family in about three years.
I figure the Great Barrier will be completely dead if I wait much longer. *sigh*

6. can you do molecular biology?
i know a guy who got hired there for a few years as a molecular biologist and it looks like checking the list of needed skills that this particular skill is still needed in australia, a google for australia, immigration, biologist popped right up with molecular biologist links including immigration links

don't want to take someone else's name in vain but admittedly this guy is well-known (well, today he is well known anywy, not sure how well known he was when he worked in australia) so i don't know what part his reputation had in getting him the job

13. I should've done that.
But I wised away from a few offers. Maybe it wasn't so wise.
