Just watched the 'teen choice' awards with my girls... |

it was painful... and, from what I can tell, we are doomed... if this is what teens these days consider important/pertinent/most talented amongst the lot of artists and teen 'icons' available.
Between the lot of them, I'd be shocked if they could solve a simple linear equation, sing a simple major/minor tonal system, without 'digitization' of their vocals, or be able to cite even ONE important major author and their works, without performing a Google search!
Yep, we are doomed!

are for 11/12 year olds who want to feel like teenagers. Not that many actual teenagers watch them, I think.

the ratings indicate that Over 6 Million Viewers Tune in with Record Ratings among Kids 6-11 and Highest Viewership of Tweens Ever AND A Record-Breaking 40+ Million Votes are Cast by Kids Across Nick's Digital Platforms; Nick.com Scores Its Highest Traffic Day Ever; and 1 Million Votes Cast in First Ever Virtual Sliming
So, as I originally stated, America/the World are in deep sh*t, unless we do something soon.
