Mine is a pic of me, just thought it seemed right to use.

What made ya choose the one you did and does it say something for you?

7. Barbara Boxer is probably my favorite US Senator
But I do change my avatars -I've had Bill Clinton and John Kerry as my avatars previously. John Edwards may be next because he'd be my preferred choice of candidate for the nomination next year

18. It's me...
...I took it with my webcam when I was feeling sad and vulnerable, with a little anger too. I called it 'Face of Pain'. I usually have pictures of Keith or my sons but this one felt like a good one, at least for a while. I'll probably change it again.

19. I wanted a bear avatar ...
and I am a fan of 'Harvey Birdman, Attorney At Law' and they have this bear that's in every episode, smiling away, kinda like an extra that would be in a crowd.

The rest is history.

21. As someone who gets called in to teach evolution occasionally.
It seemed appropriate. That and the never ending fight to keep the bible belt fundies from taking over the schools in this county, makes me a little militant.

27. Toby Stephens as Orsino.
A part I wanted to play in college, but because I could sing and play, and had written some music, I was otherwise cast. Anyway, I still identify with the melancholy Duke, who got love so very right the second time around.

33. Old Iron Sides with a Flag
I just thought it reflected nicely both the area I'm from and the ideals of the revolution. I know it's also a symbol of war but I still felt it reflected the hope of the revolution, the determination of the first generation of independent America and our national history in an honest way.
