They are advanced enough to make flying saucers that can traverse the unimaginable distances of the great void, yet they fly around everywhere in the buff. Have they evolved beyond the need for clothes? Are there no cold places on their planets?

Maybe after spending so many years in a ship with their shipmates they get to know each other so well they just see no reason not to go around nekkid all the time.
