I just saw this cool commercial about the 70s!
Video clips of '70s styles, intermixed with lines at gas stations and 70s automobiles, with the smooth voice announcer saying we don't want to raise taxes or put in price controls.

Smooth. Though they don't need government subsidy, so that isn't raising taxes. (or let's do what China does, and subsidize its gas for its people).
