MicroMedia Flash Question: How do I randomize animations? |
|
Is there any way to use Action Script to make a randomization? I want to randomize which animations play. For example, there is animation1, animation2, animation3, and animation4. I would like to tell flash to randomly to and play animation 4 and then animation1 and then animation 3 and so on. But to play all 4 before repeating any numerals. Is there any way to accomplish this?

1. 1) You mean Macromedia. |
|
2) Actually you mean Adobe, since they bought Macromedia last year. 3) I haven't touched Flash in years, so I'm useless to you. I just felt like nitpicking. :P There should be a way though. Your best bet is Google.

2. Start with calling the random number function. |
|
Math.round(Math.random()*(3))+1;
That will give you a integer that is 1,2,3, or 4.
I am very rusty on Action Script..
