bugspray smelling perfume! UGH! |
|
I've got a delicate situation going on recently. I'm a dancer in a strip club, and one of the other dancers I very frequently have to work with has discovered a new perfume that for some reason she is the only person on the planet that doesn't realize smells exactly like bugspray. The bigger problem is that it stinks up the ENTIRE club. It's so potent it makes your eyes water if you happen to be anywhere in her general vacinity.
All week we've been trying to delicately let her know she reaks, she's reaking up the whole club, it's nauseating, it's grossing out the customers and making them think we have a really nasty bug infestation (which doesn't exactly prompt folks to stay long or want to come back). At the same time, she can't seem to understand why customers are tripping over themselves trying to get away from her or that this phenomenon coincided with the first time she sprayed this nasty stuff on herself. However, even blatent hints just aren't sinking in. She thinks it smells nice, and has no clue that it's invaded the entire club, not just sticking to her or is just lingering in her general "wake".
I was hoping that within a day or two a rude customer would just mouth off to her how much she stinks and that she's reaking up the whole club, but for the first time in the history of the universe, there have been no sufficiently rude customers in the club since she first discovered this particular Napalm. Go figure.
I have to work with her again tomorrow, and I'm seriously considering either wearing a gas mask or throwing her in the shower and scrubbing her all over with a big soapy brush.

1. that wasn't what I expected when I read the subject line |
|
thought maybe somebody was jokingly introducing a new perfume, or maybe it was some joke post ("look at my topless strippers" from the other day)
But, is this other young woman normally a nice person who has an acceptable smell about her? Has anybody at least said, "hey, I don't like your new perfume" to her? Is there a manager/owner you could speak to about it?
