Why I don't start threads in GD.

Because no matter what I write, no matter what my intentions are, someone is going to take what I wrote, twist it in the worst way possible, and respond based upon that.
I guess I just don't have the thick skin for it anymore myself. :(

I don't have the thick skin that I thought that I had. I guess we'll have to stick to just responding to threads in GD and starting threads here in the lounge.

About the first part, I mean. I do not know if you are correct about your skin. Still, even a thick skin can take a real beating in there! I participate in GD threads, but I couldn't tell you the last time I started one there.
