Poll question: Need some advice re: online photo-sharing (flickr, shutterfly, photobuck) |
|
So Yahoo! Photos is closing down, and I have the option of moving my photos to several different online photo-sharing sights. I see a lot of DUers post photos that link to photobucket, so I was wondering if one was better than another.
I would like a site where I can give a username and password to friends and family that only lets them browse, if at all possible. Like, I'm the administrator and can add and delete photos and albums, and they are mere peons only able to view. Easy-to-use and good web-ergonomics would be nice. And being able to link to it on DU would be a nice bonus.
Opinions?
I did a poll just so I could keep track easier. These are my choices:

1. I vote flickr just because it's the one I know |

I use photobucket too but just for hosting pictures to post in messages. Flickr gives you options that I've never used but it's still easy for me and seems nice to look at.

5. That Picasa looks nice! |
|
But, Yahoo does not offer one-click photo transfer to it! :-(
And I have probably almost a thousand photos to tranfer!

My Mom has a Yahoo album like that, I don't know if she's just gonna give up on it or what! I'm gonna call her and make sure she knows it's being shut down.
