French & Saunders are reuniting on BBC1 next month!
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 01:57 PM by CottonBear

French & Saunders are back!

The insanely genius duo of Jennifer Saunders (Edina from Ab Fab) and Dawn French are reteaming for a new show on BBC1.

And they’ve already got their sharp wits honed in on two of our favorite subjects!

A Bucket of French and Saunders premieres next month.

Yay!

5. Now, I'll have to wait for it to be on DVD or online. I have no cable TV.
I think BBC America is available on my cable system but it's part of a very expensive plan.

Boo hoo. I'll have to wait. :(

2. Ab Fab was originally a French & Saunders skit
I only saw Dawn French once on the series tho, playing a television presenter on a morning talk show. i think Patsy was the guest.

4. The original sketch was hilarious! French played Saffron!
I love, love, love Dawn French in the Vicar of Dibley! It's one of my all time fave shows!

Have you seen the French & Saunders DVDs of their previous shows which aired on BBC? I rented them at the video store in my town. I saw the original Ab Fab sketch on one of them.

Did you know that Dawn French is married to the guy who played the chef on Chef (BBC)?

:)

3. Why is it we can't get the BBC
in the sates? I think direct tv or other could make a fortune piping BBC 1-? in here? It is satellite for fuck sake just do it man! Then maybe we wouldn't be forced to watch the same reruns on BBC America.

6. Is BBC America mostly reruns? I've seen BBC Newsnight on CSPAN during the last elections in the UK.
I would get cable or satellite TV if I could get BBC.

7. It seems like it to me
Edited on Tue Aug-28-07 03:07 PM by Rambis
some shows are in series 3 or 4 but we seem to get the first two over and over. I love coupling but I have the DVD's I don't need to see it for the 12th round on BBC america. I think I have see every episode of changing rooms three times or more and I enjoy seeing carol smiley a lot. I like these shows but I have seen them way to many times. I would like to see Cracker, Life on Mars, Dalziel and Pascoe or Night Detective on because I know they have filmed more series than they show on BBC america. I would be one thing if they showed them on BBC America but they don't for some reason? Hell I would watch Corrie street from the beginning for something new.

10. I think it's silly that you can't.
I mean, it's already paid for and everything. They could make a little extra cash by selling it to some satellite or cable company that wanted to carry it.
