For the last time, there is no Oscar Dimas at this number!

For several months I have been getting phone calls from, apparently, a creditor of Oscar Dimas. I am guessing it is some kind of collection attempt. The weird thing is I have had this phone number for 10 years. I have only been living at my present address for three years. I have no idea how they got my number. I never answer my home phone but now I have changed my outgoing message on my answering machine to include "Nobody named Oscar lives at this number so stop calling me!". I hope it helps.

I keep getting calls for Robert Ward. My phone number has been the number for the church parsonage for as long as there have been phones in this town, and no such person has ever been pastor of this church.

I just hope this doesn't somehow affect my credit.

5. That used to happen to us when we first moved to our house.

Previous tenant owed everybody, including Uncle Sam, and they hounded us. The phone number hadn't been his; they called it because it went to the house (ours) where this guy used to live.

We also got a lot of mail for him, which we marked "Return to Sender" and stuck back in the mail.

This went on for over a year before we finally convinced these assholes that Mr. So-and-So didn't live her any more.

who cares if they are calling the wrong number, Oscar prolly pulled your number out of thin air.

I'd also tell them that if they continue to call this number it is considered harassment and you will report them.
