Meanwhile, SC counters with Edwin McCain (who had one hit that sounded exactly like you-know-who).

25. you could've-
Even if it wasn't a concert you had a ticket for, because they used to play free shows sometimes at fairs and festivals. I've seen their ticketed concerts 2 or 3 times and once saw a Katherine Whalen show (I met her too :7) but I also saw them for free at an outdoor fair in Richmond VA once.

26. I think possibly at Bele Chere in Asheville
I like to go to music festivals; I rarely go to concerts unless they are outside and mostly free, lol. It depends on how long they've been around...I might have them confused with Jump Little Children, but I don't think so, I think I've seen them. :)

29. Who did you see play?
I haven't been in a few years...I miss it but summer is not a time when I can go off and leave my animals. I used to go to Bele Chere alone every year because I would run all over town trying to catch as many musical acts as possible. A great time. :)

30. don't remember :(
If it was someone I really loved then I'd know.. My memory's kinda effed up and the whole day's like a dejavu now, all I really remember is the record store downtown lol
My Mom moved to Wainesville four years ago and I'd flown down to see her and we went over to Asheville to Bele Chere. I ought to see if she remembers any of who was there. I'm keeping a list now of everyone I see live even if it's free just so I can check it and try to remember stuff.

That's my favorite part of NC, someday I will move back there to the mountains.. that's my one goal, moving back there and getting a goat and a donkey :headbang:

Pity that Ryan "Sweetheart of Rodeo Drive" Adams believed his own hype.

21. True, I have friends who played in the band over the years...
and it seemed like their biggest point of frustration was Adams focusing on the wrong things. He CAN be a good songwriter. He CAN sing very well. But too often, he got caught up in the whole star trip and hype. He was given an opportunity that very few musicians are given. And he blew it. And he has no one to blame but himself.

23. I personally believe that South Carolinians are unable to make music because...uh...some people..
...don't have sheet music and uh, I believe that our, ah, music like such as in South Africa, and, uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uh, our music over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., or should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for our children."
