Maybe I should do another one... I like mine though...I haven't gone 'oh shoot I should have used this song there' or whatever yet. It was a lot of fun, I wish more people would do them because they are interesting to read through. :hi:

12. I'm starting to wonder if I need to do a bluegrass/country one
and then maybe a pre riot grrrl female musician one. I do not have any classic rock in mine at all, so maybe I need to do a classic rock one. And then I guess I could do a late 80's indie/alternative one, and then a grunge one. Hell I could just about do one on Pearl Jam alone. :) Hmmm....

I loved the country one that someone already did on that thread, it was great. It took me a couple of hours to do the one I did last night, and I have an awful headache tonight, so it probably isn't gonna happen any time soon. :hi:

i don't have time to look for it, right now or i would post it now. i will look for it this evening. it is my granmother's. you can put marshmallow or pecans on top...or...both :shrug:

marshmallows are too sweet. And the casserole I ate had peacons on it as well :D

31. here is my recipe
A sweet potato casserole recipe, made with mashed sweet potatoes and a crunchy pecan topping.
INGREDIENTS:
* 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 2 eggs, lightly beaten
* 1 teaspoon vanilla
* 1/2 cup milk
* 1/2 cup melted butter

* Topping:
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 1/3 cup flour
* 1/3 cup melted butter
* 1 cup chopped pecans
PREPARATION:
Combine first 6 ingredients. Pour into a buttered 1 1/2 to 2-quart casserole dish. Mix remaining ingredients together and sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until hot and browned.
Serves 6 to 8.

and here is my candied yams with bourbon recipe:

INGREDIENTS:
* 6 to 8 large sweet potatoes
* 1/4 cup light corn syrup
* 1/4 cup dark corn syrup
* 2 tablespoons maple syrup
* 1/4 cup Kentucky bourbon, good quality
* salt and pepper, to taste
* chopped fresh parsley
PREPARATION:
Cook sweet potatoes; peel and slice crosswise then lengthwise or as desired. Cool and arrange in buttered casserole pan or dish. combine remaining ingredients except parsley and pour over potatoes. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes, or until hot and bubbling.
Garnish with parsley.

My wife, raised deeper in the South than I was, can't stand sweet 'taters. She in turn loves the fried okra, which grosses me out.
