Is anyone else sick of the cold?

I read that this is the longest below-average cold spell that New York has had since 1977.

You don't want to do anything except go back under the covers.

1. Sick of the Northwest gray

I think the last sunny day here was in late December. The clouds have been so dense, so thick, that I've had all the lights on inside at 2 p.m.

It's my third winter in the Northwest, and I don't recall it ever being this bleak and dreary. It's got me in a blue funk, and it seems to be doing the same to bunches of people at work.

2. So damn sick of it. Plus we have been slammed with snow too.

When we had a green christmas I thought maybe we were in for an easy winter. The snow in my front yard is above my waist and we are supposed to get 3-6" more today.

3. Nope. I love cold weather.

But of course, I live in the Atlanta, GA area, so the weather has not been as bad as in the North and Northeast.

5. Can always put on a coat. I hate it when it is hot.

I have lived in South and it is so dull.

the temp does get above 0 most days. Wear lots of clothes and go to bed early

Not enough snow however. I live in a small pocket between the lake Erie and Ontario snow belts, so we only have about a foot of snow down. Travel west or north 20 miles or so and there is at least 3 feet of snow on the ground
