For the first time in over two months I've got the air conditioner off |
|
the windows and doors open letting some fresh air into this hole. It's finally cooled down enough and is trying to rain. Now I hope my arthritic knee will respond and stop hurting, it feels better already.

conditioner that doesn't work. My landlord says he'd be willing to fix it if it needs it but I kinda like my $10.00 a month power bills.
Glad to hear that things are working out for ya.
Rain rocks...cools things off, and feels good on skin. Yay rain.

2. I've been curled up around my air conditioner for the last month. I couldn't |
|
have made it through the summer without it. Yes - some days are pretty cool. I welcome this time of year and hopefully the power bill will go down for a few months and then up again as soon as I start to use the heat (I'm in Canada where we get the best & worst of temperatures).

3. The meter is turning oh so slow now |
|
There have been days and nights when I would have lived to turn it off but to preserve household peace I've let it run until now. The cold air has played hell with my knee all summer, I've lived on ibuprofen since we closed the house, in a day or two I'll be able to hobble again:) Just like the scarecrow I can say o Joy. In October the electric rate returns to normal, I'm so looking forword to that.
