4. Looks a bit too Tonka-toy for my taste.
And it's basically just a reskinned Jeep Liberty, which is not exactly the world's best handling SUV.

I think it's style over substance and takes too many cues from the Hummer H2.

6. Because the PT Cruiser has electrified the buying public?
Its hard to imagine people sitting around a table, finally one says, "I think this is great!" and all the other brains say "me too!" The emperor has no clothes. A stunningly ugly vehicle with the blocky/clunky bumpers, oh so functional fender flares (!) and that manly grill.

Other than all those things, I guess it will take you to the grocery store as well as anything else.

13. I'm so confused!
I went in to buy the Wrangler Unlimited but the Nitro feels like a smoother ride with less road noise.

I think the Wrangler looks better.

The cost is almost the same after I added everything I want ... give or take $2,000.

Liked it so much I got one. Getting great gas mileage (upwards of 35 mpg on the highway)

14. Eeeek! That's way too small for me.

I really like driving pick-up trucks but I need interior room to take my Blue & Gold Macaw with me as I travel.

16. You need a pickup truck for a Macaw?
A Macaw. It's a bird, right? In a cage, right? How much room do ya need?
I mean, is it a giant Macaw? One that flew a little too close to a nuclear reactor one day?
Or are you referring to something else?

(Work with me, here. I'm trying to be funny, and it doesn't come across well over the internet.) :hide:

Seriously, though, I was driving a '93 Dodge Colt before this (really tiny car) and when I test drove my Caliber, I was astonished at how high it sat compared to
most of the other cars out there (with the 17 inch wheels). It was surprisingly roomy for a car its size, and you can even get it in all-wheel-drive.

But the Nitro has some very cool features my Caliber doesn't have (the MyGig stereo system, for example). And it does sit a bit higher than the Caliber, although not by much. And you sacrifice a decent amount of mileage for that extra height. But you do get more room. (Although I haven't had any space issues with my Caliber yet.)

But I love my Caliber. So there. :P

18. She is BIG! One of the largest Macaws.

I bought this truck several years ago: the rear doors opens backward giving a wide open space to load her travel cage.

Miss Frodo was reduced to a large dog carrier on our way back north this Spring. I can't manage lifting her cage that no longer fits my travel space. x(

I bought a very small travel trailer two months ago and I'm trying to get ready to roll on down the road.

BTW You are funny. I'm just stressed out.

20. Holy crap! She's HUGH!!!!!
No, seriously, I now understand. Especially with her tail feathers. (Very pretty bird by the way)
What's she eat? Squirrels?
The Caliber isn't your car, then. (But if you got one, you'd get compliments in parking lots all the time like I do.)
I jus' like it for the Boston Acoustics sound system. Wish it had the cool 20 gb hard drive like the Nitro and the Avenger, though.

17. I think it's fine.
Kind of reminds me of an only slightly less boxy one of these:

Talk about a roomy interior...and it gets decent gas mileage.

25. I wouldn't recommend a Dodge to anyone
Any model. Especially trucks. They suck. We use them extensively at work and they break down more than any other make. So simply by it being a Dodge I would say, run away.

I don't really know what it is similar to it but maybe a Honda Element (similar in size, but kind of ugly I know). And the interior is easy to clean.
