I think the Texans will go 8-8 or perhaps 9-7. It's still a long way from the Love Ya Blue days.

24. Norv Turner....
Can I just say nobody is better at getting the least out of his talent than anyone (I say this after 7 years of agony in Washington with him). My prediction? Based on Turner's record, the Chargers miss out on the playoffs after losing the last game of the year on a last minute field goal.......

39. Quite true, but
I would argue that Schottenheimer didn't deserve to get fired. He won eight out of his last eleven and got canned merely because Wee Willie Snyder wanted to give the job to Steve Spurrier. He should have kept Marty.

Maybe you haven't noticed but I think the Skins are going to have the best Defense in the East if not in the NFC (or even the NFL) and that carried them pretty far a couple of years ago (major injuries killed them last year). I see a 10-6 record easy....

61. Yes they did
the worst part is that the pick actually made some sense because of the rave reviews on Calvin Johnson and because two of the 4 WR's they have picked in the Top 10 were total busts. After all those picks, last year their #2 WR was a converted safety.

This year is the 50th anniversary of their last championship. Before there was even a Super Bowl. Yet it is $70 a ticket to go to their crappy games and they sell-out their beautiful stadium every week even though the economy in SE Michigan is horrible. The only nice thing about it is that the Fords did put the stadium back in the city and paid for it themselves.

but will choke at the last moment, again. Why? New England sports have had too good a run in the past 5 or so years, and now the Pats have been labeled a "dynasty," they will fall back into a slow slide of mediocrity and, eventually, suckitude.

82. Philadelphia Eagles vs. New England Patriots...
Yes, we will see a repeat of this matchup. And the result will be precisely the same.

100. I predict that McNabb will last the entire season.
I also predict that Westbrook will be injured as well as Corell Buckhalter, but both injuries will keep them out for at most 2 weeks. McNabb will be shaken up a few times and may miss a couple of weeks as well, but Kolb will hold it together in his absence. Gaither will, at first, be shaky having taken Trotter's position, but will slowly ramp up.

The Eagles will win all but one of their divisional games (their loss will not against the Cowboys, but probably a team they are expected to beat mercilessly), and will have around a .700 record for non-divisional games. I predict that they will win only one game against an AFC opponent.

84. Eagles, 12-4 and win Super Bowl - well, you said fearless!
Edited on Thu Aug-30-07 05:58 PM by mvd
I really do think the next Philly team to make it to the Super Bowl/championship series will win it -even if it is against the Patriots. All four teams have gone to the end and lost since 1983, so we will break the cycle.

96. Redskins will have 2 wins vs Eagles, 2 Wins vs Cowboys
and just to be realistic 1 win agaisnt the Giants...They did this 2 years ago. No reason not to do it again since ahem..Cowboys have a lame ass quarterback and a lame ass coach btw. Oh yeah, whats up with their running game? I also predict that TO will have more temper tantrums than touchdowns.....:P

94. Denver Broncos all the way!
To an AFC West title at the very least. It might take us a couple weeks to hit our stride, but when we do, we'll be off to the races.

Unless Norv Turner screws up the bolts, then the Broncs will be lucky to make the playoffs.

Well that is who I want to go and win it all, but my pick is the patriots. They are Super Bowl caliber anyway, throw in Randy Moss. Unstopable.
