Anyways,I have this little muscle twitch in my eyelid. It's been going on |
|
since yesterday. Totally annoying. Don't you hate when that happens? Either that, or MrsGrumpy has finally gone round the bend.

1. I get one of those from time to time. |
|
Usually when I haven't had enough sleep. That's one of the messages my body sends me.

2. This could be the reason. I never thought of that GOP. I've |
|
been getting about 4 hours a night for the past week.
Phew, glad I got something else to blame it on.

4. vitamin B12 deficiency... |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 10:21 AM by ElsewheresDaughter
This has helped me and some others also. Go to a reputable health store and buy sublingual vitmain B12 tablets (called methylcobalamin) 1000 mcgs. Take at least 1 a day. Also, get a good B complex vitamin. I had a twitching eyelid for weeks, and I started the B12, and it went away. Good luck

But then I'll have to make a decision between severe headache versus eyelid twitch. :7

It's harmless, just makes you look like you're on the edge of a breakdown. Use it to your advantage, and try to go get some sleep.

12. ZombyCoffee does NOT cause eye-twitching! |
|
So stop saying that! :D
(Yes, it is a vitamin-deficiency, because I get the same problem some times. But too much Vitamin B causes my gums to be tender, so I have to be careful)

Though, it usually related to a traveling muscle twitch. Roams my whole body, quads, triceps, even my pecks once. That looked funny, to say the least.

Which I refuse to refer to as a tic, because then I really will sound crazy. :hi:

Caffeine leeches calcium from your system.. may be giving you that eye twitch.
Or it could be a potassium deficiency?
Have a banana and a glass of milk. One or the other should do the trick. :^)

It means I'm starting to have an LSD flashback.
At least I get a signal, some people don't.

Get some sleep. Meditate with a cup of green tea. Have a glass of wine and sit in the tub for an hour.
But most of all, know you're appreciated around here. :pals:

And think that because it isn't "regular" tea, it doesn't have any caffeine. I think it might even have a little more.

17. Maybe it's from a week without Matcom or the fact that Oscar is archived |
|
he was in Mexico for a week of vacation
Or that thread about the mystery animal Oscar went into Archived - that could be also affecting it.

18. Eyestrain will also cause those annoying eyelid twitches... |
|
Maybe too much time spent in front of the monitor? Or, if you wear glasses/contacts, could it be time for an upgrade?
Just a thought.
Take care -- :toast:

regular on a daily dose of a good quality multivitamin...
That's all it is.
