While the NHC Ecolong LP-10 is not the most feature-rich MP3 player we have seen on the market, one astonishing specification does stand out - the player is capable of 85 hours of continuous audio playback on a single AAA battery.

The LP-10 MP3 player is equipped with a 1GB storage capacity limited to only MP3 and WMA file types. The small four-line 128 x 64 pixel LCD is not much to be desired, yet does the job. Unfortunately, AnythingButiPod point out that the “the earphone output is limited to 1mW per channel.

Unfortunately, the device’s appearance does not do it any justice. Available in a childish GI Joe camouflage-look or white color, the MP3 player is almost like a small shoe box - not as elegant as some other MP3 players.

The plain white model will set you back around $43 (or ~£22) while the camouflage model which includes headphones and a carrying pouch will cost an extra $8 over the white model.
