so would Nanaimo be more appropriate than Victoria? I know nothing about it. Just some hiking or biking or the like with some great food is what I am seeking. A chance to get away from Florida for a few days. Would you recommend it? Anything in particular I should know about - like a cool B&B or a good restaurant or the like.

17. Victoria is much more interesting. It is the seat of the provincial government.
