With an elementary age daughter that is important to us! We also rent, so I could care less about garden schemes and the like.

And here and there, you can find homes that don't fit into the mold. I have a friend who bought an old farmhouse that happened to still be standing in the midst of a subdivision. The founding conductor of the National Symphony is buried in her back yard!
