"Susan Across The Ocean"- The Silos
The Silos (and Walter Salas-Humara) have been one of my all-time favorite bands for 20 some years now, and this song kills me to this days. A perfect 3am song about love, loss, regret, and ultimately, acceptance:

1. Wow. I haven't heard from The Silos since they had a minor hit...
...with "I'm Over You" back in the early '90s. Thanks for posting that!

2. Love, love Walter Salas-Humara
I've seen them live 8 or 9 times over the years going back to the late 80's, and they've always been great. Walter is an incredibly nice guy, too...

9. I did not see that when it was on...
I wish I would have, though! I can't wait to see it.

I'm still interested in doing a show for you -- I will PM you later about it. What kind of programming changes are you making??

10. We're going to add a couple of shows
One is a French techno dance show and a weekly news/weird news show, but I haven't figured out a slot for it yet. You know I'd love to have a show from you; whenever you're ready let me know and I'll clear up a spot on the sched for you..

6. Screw Walter...he fired 2 of my friends from the band after a grueling crosscountry tour...
Actually, he really is a good songwriter. I particularly like "Mary's Getting Married"
I still don't like him, though

8. Really?
Who were they? I've met him a few times and he was always cool to me; I couldn't believe how many women were always swarming around him, the bastard!

11. John Ross and John Galway...
two friends from my hometown who were the first real rockandroll musicians I knew.
John and John also played in two other great North Miami bands:
Charlie Pickett And The Eggs (their "Live At The Button" is hands down one of the greatest rockandroll records you will ever hear- seriously)
and
Psycho Daisies (led by the tragic Miami legend John Salton)

John and John were Silos during that period of "Tennessee Fire" and when the band topped the Rolling Stone critics poll.
In all honesty, Walter was a really nice guy when I met him. But still...:)
Sadly, John Galway passed away several years ago. Rest In Peace, Brother.
