ON EDIT: My favorite memory of her was every time I sparked up, she would know I would soon be on *her wavelength* and she'd come up and cuddle, smelling intently into my breath.

She is also departed from this plane and much missed.

Other women go on a three day drunk and wake up pregnant or with a new tattoo. I sobered up to a cat that was one of the most foul tempered animals I have ever known. I lived with her for 17 years. She was evil tempered, refused to use a litter box that had been left unscooped for more than a half of a day, and was a real diva demanding attention on her own terms.

She also loved me without condition, and for that I forgave her for everything else.

Sophie was a beautiful kitty, and I am sorry to hear of your loss.

11. Kev was the only man Tillie ever liked.

I'm very serious about this. Literally, I had one guy I dated that Tillie tried to bury (like she was in the litter box.) When she met Kev for the first time she jumped into his lap (which was something she NEVER did with men) rolled onto her back and started purring. I about fell over. Then I started to wonder just what was up with the cat and that new guy. As you know it turned out well--that was almost 15 years ago!

She was a real character. If I forgot and and left the phone anyplace she could reach it she would run up and knock it off the receiver whenever it rang. My cat would answer the phone! She'd bite for no reason under the sun, and every so often she'd get this wild eyed look that signaled "don't touch me". That look would make me remember just what an emotional mess she really was, and it would make me steer clear of her until she calmed down. That poor cat was terribly abused before she came to live with me, and it left her a mental mess for the rest of her life.

In spite of her issues I miss that cat to this day (she's been gone about 8 years.) She was a beautiful animal and she bought me a lot of joy.

13. Tillie is a good judge of character. Kevsand is a good guy.

He fixed my computer for free, after I killed it by adding unnecessary YK2 protection. I remain grateful. And just a good guy all around.

a beautiful cat. She's going to leave an empty space in your heart, but I hope it'll soon be filled with fond memories.

My dear cat passed away December 22, and there's still times when I think she'll greet me at the door, walk around the corner, sleep at my feet. She was an exceedingly smart cat. She got me through some difficult times in my life. Pets are wonderful. They give so much and ask for so little.
