Chihuahua to defend title as America’s fastest

Don’t call him tiny.

Tiger, who defends his title as America’s fastest Chihuahua on Sunday, isn’t a pushover, despite his small stature.

“He has so much attitude, that’s where the name Tiger comes from,” said owner Cathy Smith.

The 3-year-old dog sometimes acts as if Smith doesn’t exist, even when she’s standing right next to him and trying to get his attention. He’s also not afraid of bigger dogs.

Tiger recently walked up to a pit bull and barked at him furiously, Smith said. Fortunately for Tiger, the pit bull seemed more amused than angered.
