Can I toss an old joke into the Lounge? |
|
New Element in Periodic Table A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science. The new element has been named "Bushcronium." Bushcronium has one neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 224 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311. These particles are held together by dark forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. The symbol for Bushcronium is "W". Bushcronium's mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons in a Bushcronium molecule, forming isodopes. This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Bushcronium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass". When catalyzed with money, Bushcronium activates Foxnewsium, an element that radiates orders of magnitude more energy, albeit as incoherent noise, since it has 1/2 as many peons but twice as many morons. (Just found this in an old email, and thought some might find it interesting. And I wonder if we have passed the half life of "Bushcronium"?)

1. My dear AnotherDreamWeaver! |

I think I've never seen this one....and it's hilarious!
Oh, and how I hope we've more than passed the half life of "Bushcronium"!
Thanks for posting!

priceless!!11!!!!1!!
Hopefully we have passed the half-life of the half-wit!
Bushcronium must be accompanied by Dictaterium, a very volitale, invisible gas that can be deadly when mixed with lead. Both of these elements are dangerous to all living humans, especially those with high melatonin levels.

3. Here's another old joke.. |
|
Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."
"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"
His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.
Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"

6. At the risk of being excoriated by righteous females... |

... I have to share a "chick singer" joke.
Prefaced by saying that every woman I work with loves this joke.
"What's the difference between a Porshe and a chick singer?"
"Most musicians will never be inside a Porshe."
If you think this is the most sexist thing you've ever heard, you've never hung out on a break with a female singer.
