Whoaoaoaoa! BoSox rookie pitcher gets a no-hitter.
Clay Buchholz just had only his second major-league start, tonight against the Orioles. He wasn't supposed to pitch, even, tonight, but Wakefield got hurt.

:rofl:::rofl::rofl:

2. Indeed, indeed.
Still like 4 1/2 up on the Skanks, but that series was embarrassing, it was. :scared:

*phew*

Anyone know what the wild card race looks like? Skanks were second, last I heard, but how many games back in that regard?

:woohoo:

ETA: Nevermind. They're up 2 over Seattle. Damn them to hell.

5. Pretty good
And, since this is my first night living in my new Boston apartment, I pointed out to my mom that it all happened right down the street from me!

6. That's cool!
Does your screenname imply that you are indeed new to the region? If so, welcome to New England!

7. Define new
I went to the University of Toronto for four years. I now plan to be here for at least two, possibly seven years. Wherever I go, however, the more I realize that Colorado is my home. Back in the day when I hadn't lived anywhere else, I didn't like that idea much. But now that I'm out and about, I realize that it's the only place I really know and understand (so far). Not that Toronto wasn't great, in fact it was a wonderful four years, and not that Boston won't be good too, but CO is the place for me. I say that even though I grew up in Dobbyville, I mean Colorado Springs, as a liberal Jew. I guess that's why I feel like I'm not having a real conversation with someone if they're not strenuously disagreeing with me :)

9. Haha!
I've lived in the same house in Maine all my life, so I know nothing but New England life. :D I'm sure in Boston you can find someone to argue with. ;)

13. The O's are the classic loosers this year!
Most runs given up since 1897! and then they get no-nit!

LOOSERS!!!!

14. He's 22, and he was VERY well-spoken in his post-game interviews.
Most of these players sorta stumble around, but he was level-headed, as calm as someone in that position can be. All I can say is that this cat might not stay on the inactive list for much longer. :D

12. Check this quote
From the story after his first start Aug. 18:

"I got my feet wet," Buchholz said. "I hope I can come back in September and help out."

Neat hed on the Sox site, too:

Feat of Clay

19. All three no-hitters so far this season have been in the AL.
Buehrle, Verlander, and now Buchholz.

What does it all mean?!
