Like I said, I'm not embarrassed. I am pissed at this. What little I saw was sloppy football. And I think Lloyd Carr's era of Michigan football is just about over now. Meh.

Congrats to AS for the win. You guys played great and we played awful. Enjoy your time in the spotlight. Honestly.

As for everyone else, well, embarrassing losses are not just something Michigan alone does. Your time will come too.

I respect em though, coming from Ohio as I do. One of the great rivalries in college football, and last year's game was really awesome given all that occurred the day prior.

The days of woody and bo are behind us, and so is some of the fun in it all.

I think you have a fine coach, but he is no Bo - and them's so big shoes to fill.

certainly no Bo and yes they are big shoes to fill. But it just looks like he keeps making the same mistakes over and over again, and I have a hard time respecting that. Oh well.

The Bo and Woody days are behind us, but maybe some great rivalry games are still ahead of us.

10. It's not really about Michigan per se

It's about the little guy taking on the big guy and winning once in a while, part of the great American myth.

Sure it doesn't happen very often but I celebrate whenever it does.

Hubby went to Michigan. They are a great team - Saturday was bad, but as you said lots of teams have embarrassing losses. Look what happened to the Irish!

Georgia Tech is a pretty solid Division 1 team.

Michigan lost to a 1-AA team. Yes, a good 1-AA team, but a 1-AA team nonetheless.

Michigan is one of those perpetually overrated teams beloved by gasbag sports pundits. Same goes for Notre Dame, Texas, and Florida State.

I'm on the Pacific coast,and that was Stanford UCLA game, silly. UCB is going to beat UCLA this year and will go "The Granddaddy of Them All", the Rose Bowl. I'll take an interest in the eastern teams later in the season to see who will be playing Cal.
