I woke up this morning and discovered my dog Rusty was missing from the backyard. The gate to the backyard didn't lock the right way last night and I'm guessing the wind blew it open and he walked right out. I'm really worried about him and I dont know what to do. He might have gotten out this morning or as early as last night so I have no idea where to even begin. I'm getting ready right now to go to the animal shelter, hopefully he's there but I somehow doubt it :( . He's so timid around people he doesn't know and I'm just so worried. If something happened to him I'm going to be an absolute mess :cry: . So please any and all good vibes would be appreciated.

you could put his picture on the lost and found section in craigslist. maybe he will come home. it's much better for them to be timid if they get loose I think, friendly dogs are much easier to dognap. Please keep us posted. :hug: :hug: :hug:

I would make posters with Rusty's picture on them and put them up all over your neighborhood, and let your neighbors know to be on the look out.

We have an escape artist and it's really scary when he gets out. He's little and has no fear of the road and what a car can do to him.
