yay! My partner and I are adopting a rescue dog!

Both of us are huge dog people, and we've been eagerly waiting for the day when we could finally get a dog. This weekend, we went to an adoption fair and fell in love with a 1 year old pit bull named Queenie. She's honey colored and is quite possibly the sweetest dog in the world. She loveto just curl in your lap and lick you to death :)

So tomorrow is the big day--got approval from our landlord, and now we can pick up our sweetie tomorrow! :bounce:

we just saw her and our hearts melted. She's unbelievably sweet and very well behaved, though we are required (per the advocacy group) to take obedience school with her.

We're very happy furbaby parents now :)
