...by having several glasses of milk. :(
I swear, I wish I'd inherited my Dad's nearly complete lack of a sweet tooth. Would sure make losing weight easier. :(

1. Ah, the sweet tooth.. Try sugar-free gum and other distractions. |
|
And eat the right amount. A little at breakfast, more at lunch, and something like two or three pieces of chicken (relative sizing) at dinner, because you have to digest all night.
Good luck.

2. A little bit of chocolate would be less fattening |
|
Milk is concentrated calories- calves get enormous real quick on that stuff.

5. Still very calorie dense |
|
Really, look up the numbers. You'd be waaaay better off with a little bit of chocolate- you can't eat a whole lot of a high quality dark chocolate anyhow.

7. I did. 90 calories a cup isn't too bad. Besides, I need the protein. |

I'm trying to lose weight, too. Sugar is also a big obstacle to me. But I figured up just how much sugar I was eating a day and I was surprised. It turned out that I was eating about 1400 calories a day in sugar rich food. I would get a snack every night at work that consisted of a six pacxk of those little Hostess donuts and a pint of chocolate milk. That alone was almost 900 calories. Then throw in a couple of candy bars a day and you have the 1400 calories.
I cut out almost all of that and started drinking only water. I say almost because I will still have a little bit of sugar as a treat. A couple of teaspoons of brown sugar in my oatmeal or maybe a couple of those little Andes mints after dinner.
Just by doing that I've lost 15 pounds in the last month.

9. You can have a small square of dark chocolate every now and then |
|
and it won't hurt your weight loss
the key is stopping at the small square...
It's hard, I know...
