1. Is 8 Dallas or Ft. Worth?
I think 121 loops around north of both places. Been a while since I've been there, but that road is dangerous.

2. #8 Is Plano, Tx - I've updated it
I still can't believe NJ doesn't have something in the top 10 - that's just the nastiest state to drive in!!

I even knew people that had accidents there. Both intersections are only about 1 mile apart. They are awful!

3. It's in Plano.
Republicans slamming into one another in their SUVs.

DUers residing in Plano excepted, of course. ;-)

19. Dallas in general is a dangerous intersection...
for example: the lanes on 635 are about 3 feet wide and everyone does 90.

4. # Philadelphia, Penn. Grant Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard 2204
I'm less than a mile away from this charming intersection. If they would just put in a left turn signal, it would be fine! But NOOOOOOOOO.

#2 is just up the road from #3.

8. Roosevelt Blvd is just a damn nightmare
For Newbie drivers it's a bizarre concept of the split double lane highways with the crossovers. First time I drove on the Roosevelt I thought I was going to die, but I'm an old hack at it now.

I know Bell Circle in Revere is always at the top of the list (for Massachusetts).

There's a scroll window where you can select individual states. No listing available for Massachusetts. Could be because State Farm want's nothing to do with MA auto insurance.

24. Surprising-Orleans Rotary on Cape Cod
and Fresh Pond rotary are two of the worst IMHO. Bell Circle and the rotary in Woburn on Rte. 38 under Rte. 128 are awful as well.

16. Used to go through #5 and #6

Every day on the way to and from work. Always shattered window glass, various mangled trim pieces in/around the intersections.Delayed at least once or twice a week while they cleared the mangled vehicles from the intersections.

17. 19th Ave and Northern in Phoenix?
I used to live maybe a mile or so from there (17th Ave & Camelback) and probably went through that intersection just about every day. Maybe it's gotten more dangerous since we moved away in 1987.

21. I wonder if these stats comprise simply number of accidents
or number of injury accidents? If it includes fender-benders, I'm not a bit surprised that #1 is in Florida. I've seen a lot of folks driving down there who probably can't see past their windshield wipers, if they can even see over the dash anymore.

23. 1st & University
You know, I hate to make a sweeping negative generalization of any group of people, but the drivers in the cherry creek area are fucking snobs. Their $70,000 SUV is too damn good to stop at any paltry red light or look to see if the lane is clear before merging over.

I'm at that intersection once a week. When the light turns green, you still have to look both ways before proceeding, just to make sure some yahoo in a Jaguar isn't blowing through the red light while talking on his cellphone.
