am generally very pleased. However, I've read numerous references to a built-in spellchecker & I can find no evidence of such a beast. Nor does there seem to be an English spellchecker among the add-ons/extensions available. It's probably something very obvious that i'm overlooking, but your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1. The spell checker for me was already on -
Try spelling something wrong in a post, and you should see it underlined in red.

I don't remember ever needing to turn it on, and after looking around a bit, I don't see any option for turning it on or off.

But I installed it many months ago, and my memory isn't always reliable.

There you go!

You can also possibly right click into an editing window and turn it on from there, too.

4. Thanks, Rabrrrrr, it's already turned on in that location, but
doesn't seem to be doing anything. More puzzle solving ahead.

2. If you click on the tools menu tab and go to options...
Then click on "Advanced" look in the "General" tab and you should see a check box for "Check my spelling as I type".

5. Found it, the box was already checked, but it doesn't catch any
of my numerous disgratt . Haw, it did catch that deliberate typo, but the red line is so faint, that my blind eyes can barely see it. Many thanks, leeroysphits, to you and Rabrrr.
